What services do you offer?
My full-service salon/barbershop offers a range of services listed on the Services page and the booking site, which includes everything from women’s, men’s and kids’ haircuts, trims, line-ups, curly haircuts, color, highlights, Brazilian blowouts, balayage. My clients claim I am one of the elite for black haircuts, fades, and razor cuts.
How do I get started?

What makes you different?
I offer precision clipper cuts and razor cuts; gorgeously layered shear cuts that will have your tresses flowing perfectly, as well as the services listed above. I also offer the best black haircuts and fades in Albuquerque.
Where are you located?
My salon is conveniently located across from UNM right off the iconic Route 66 at 123 Yale Blvd. SE, Suite A3, right off the iconic Route 66 near UNM, Nob Hill, and just a couple miles from downtown, across from the McDonald’s and next to La Urraca Mexican & Colombian Food.

What is a platinum card?
Hair gets entirely lightened as bright as possible; includes a toner to your likeness of bright blonde.
Where do I park?
Free parking is available on the north side of the building at 123 Yale SE, Suite A3, with the entrance around the corner facing Yale. There also is paid parking across the street on the southwest corner of Gold and Yale.
Should I schedule a consultation before my appointment?
No need for a consultation, as even with existing clients, I ask plenty of questions to address your needs; feedback on previous haircut and grow out concerns; if you just want a quote or a clear understanding of what to schedule and what to expect at a later date,, scheduling a client consultation is appropriate.
What if I don’t like the way my color, highlights, balayage or ombré came out?
I simply add a toner to your service. Toners and glosses last about 25 washes before they start fading out slowly (12-24 weeks; 3-6 months), depending on how often you shampoo your hair. If you want another touchup, it is only $60 and takes 1 hour with blowout; or $20 and takes only 20 minutes without styling.
What style and/or color will look best on me?
I use Magic Mirror with your image; you will have several options to choose from, as well as my professional opinion
What is the difference between highlights and balayage?
Highlights are slices or weave foil highlights. Balayage is custom hand-painted highlights that create a natural looking highlight
Why is there an additional product charge for Brazilian blowouts?
It is recommended and included to only use 15 grams of product (less product is more); so as not to burn off the product but adhere to the hair. However, if your hair is coarse, very curly, medium length, an additional 15 grams is needed. If your hair is long, it may require two product charges, $100 extra. I only like to charge, not by the length of hair, but by the amount of product used.
